Our 2011 Nissan Pathfinder had the timing chain go at approximately 90,000 miles. Had it repaired for around $1600.00. Now, only 12,000 miles later it's broken again. I have read where Nissan knew there was an issue with this part and chose to continue to manufacture vehicles with them in it.
I am currently looking for a class action lawsuit that I can join to help get some of our money back. I can't afford a $1600.00 + bill for this vehicle yearly.......
I don't think it is flattering for the Nissan when the 190 hp engine of the Pathfinder, and Navara, will have a total crash due to the timing chain break when the engine has run only 138000 km. Neither is the answer of the Nissan: NOT OUR PROBLEM. In other term, blame yourself for buying Nissan.
