one headlight failed at about 44,000 miles, had local mechanic replace it. Same headlight failed at about 46,500, mechanic said early failure might be due to having touched halogen bulb with finger on first replacement which shortens life. Right front headlight very difficult to reach, involves removing battery and wheel and reaching into impossible spot, all while not touching lamp. Sounds like stupid design; remember when headlights were logically accessible from outside car?
