I paid a lot of money for a work van. It always had 10-11 mpg so I took it back to dealer when new and he couldnt tell me how many MPG i was to getting because of weight or driving habits. Finally at 75000 miles i changed my plugs and wires. I had two loose plugs, one broken, and full of carbon in cracked plug the plugs were ngk.
So I called GM to see why i had ngk plugs. The nice lady said no way did this van come with ngk plugs. I went to dealer and he said the same. The plugs in a van are a bitch to change. So i dont think anybody came in the middle of night and switched them.
I also own a 2007 Corvette convertable. I do all my own maintance on my vehicle so if anybody is looking for a vett or van im dumping this sh*t and going FORD. I hear they stand behind their products. And to the lady in GM India, don't you think I could of made up a better story than this if i wanted something for nothing? I was born and raised in Detriot, Michigan. I worked in automotive industry most of my life as a automotive pattern/ model maker. I dont think I should be called a liar.
