My 2011 Ram 1500 4x4 will not go into 4WD Low. I have the electronic control knob that has 2WD, 4WD Auto, 4WD Lock, and 4WD Low.
I can shift into Auto, and Lock; however, when switching into Low in neutral, the traction control indicator light flashes on and off and then the SRVC 4WD light comes on. From that point forward the SRVC 4WD lights stay on regardless of the switch position. The 4WD will not work in any selection. After shutting the vehicle off and restarting the lights clear out and the selector will work for 4WD Auto and Lock again. The same sequence will occur for 4LOW. I saw the bulletin for flashing the 2012 and older models. I checked the wires for chafing and put dielectric grease in the connector pigtails. The truck used to lurch forward slightly when 4LOW engaged; but, now I hear and feel no actuation.
