Really inconvenient, ugly problem to fix. Found several other occurrences mentioned in the Ford Explorer forum. The dealer wants a small fortune to start and won't quote a "not to exceed" price, to make the repair. Apparently the glue that Ford uses to fix the window to the operating arm gets old and lets go. The two part urethane glue needed for the fix is not a hardware store item. Access to work is limited.
