Went to go to work yesterday morning and found this (see attached picture). At first I thought I had been vandalized but thought it was strange how it appeared and therefore "googled" to see if this was a common random occurrence. I was relieved to find out that it wasn't an act of vandalism but ticked off to find out that is is a very common flaw with Ford Explorers - that the back window randomly shatters on it own (more in the 2017 version on this site) and Ford should have been recalling these for years apparently. I was not in my vehicle when it happened but it appears that others were not so lucky. Such loud noises could cause serious accidents and the manufacturer should be responsible!
