I was driving on Hwy 58 doing 55 MPH and there was a loud noise and out of the corner of my eye I saw something fly by. There was not anyone in back of me or it would have hit their car and could have caused an accident, and when I got home I saw that the wind shield trim was gone and the rubber window seal was also gone! I have not had an estimate on the repairs but I am definitely going to this week.
I did however go into Auto Zone and ask if my wind shield was going to or potentially blow out! I believe the manufacture is at fault as I googled this and found so so many other individuals had the same problem. I believe Ford should take some responsibility also for fixing the repairs, and consider changing manufacture companies! I believe there should be a recall as with the roof racks potentially coming loose and flying off and hitting another car causing an accident or even the death of person or persons.
