When towing a heavy trailer in Tow/Haul mode the transmission continually tries to shift into overdrive. Every time we come to even a slight incline or hill the transmission will start shifting out of torque converter lockup and 4th gear, when we pass the incline the transmission shifts back into overdrive. On a typical road in fairly level terrain it will shift many times every mile. It drives us crazy. Ford must have changed the shift control in 2009, some other people we know eith 2005 to 2008 Fords with the Torqshift say their transmissions don't shift into overdrive in Tow/Haul. The Ford dealer confirms this. For 2009 the Torqshift was programmed to shift into overdrive in Tow/Haul. This is a stupid move by Ford. You should not be pulling a heavy trailer in Overdrive. No other truck I have driven since the 70's would do it. They all have Overdrive Lockout. I am still waiting on a fix for this from my Dealer. We can't use this vehicle the way it is.
