This was to be the first of at least 4 visits to fix the a/c... they started with the hi/low hoses ($880) then moved on to rear evaporator ($1300) then fuse block and blower ($1700) plus replaced the evaporator again, because it was already bad. It's now in the shop again and being told its the main evaporator ($2200) this is the final straw... I will be getting rid of it and getting an explorer.
