Sure enough, as I suspected the flywheel failed again at 86000 miles. this time I had to pay to replace the clutch assembly as well. GM out of the goodness of their little corporate hearts footed 75% of the replacement of the flywheel but I had to pay full price for the clutch disc, pressure plate and combo throw out bearing/slave cylinder. Local dealer didn't have a lift big enough for the truck so the had to send it out of town and it took a week and a half to get my truck back.
