I was recently driving my car and my oil light started to flash. i stopped and checked it and it was a quart low. i fill it up and continue on my way. Five minutes later the oil light comes back on, mind you i have not had a single light on my dash come on since ive owned it. (the previous day i had driven about 350 miles without a single problem) So i ignore it for a few minutes and make it home, i smell a scent of burning oil. I jack up my car after noticing a puddle of oil growing underneath the vehicle. i crawl underneath and i see that the oil looks like it is coming from underneath my timing belt cover, which aren't easy to get off without breaking them. the oil is all over the block but mostly toward the driver's side and on the bottom half. Its weird that the oil can make its way from one side of the motor to the middle and dripp on the exhaust. i do not know what the problem is. i attempted to take it to a shop to have the problem diagnosed but i did not make it, apparently the leak got severely worse because i made it several blocks when the car decided to shut off, it hasnt ran since and still turns over but slowly. im am on a very limited budget or it would be fixed right now. if anyone has had a problem that is related to mine let me know. Every little detail can help. thnx
