- Summary
- There is a SCR/ AWD harness that has a unique routing, over the SCR tank cover. Over time, contamination (i.e. sand, dirt) on the SCR/AWD harness may cause wear on the harness wiring and insulation due to vibration of the SCR tank cover. In the worst-case scenario, the electrical circuits in the wiring harness can be disconnected with the MIL/SCR/4WD warning lights illuminating. Inspect the SCR/AWD harness for signs of damage. If the CORE WIRES inside the harness have no damage, protective shrink tubing will be installed on the harness. If CORE WIRE damage is found in the harness, the harness will be repaired with supporting parts.
