Well, it's very simple. THERE IS A DEFECT IN THE BRAKES OR BRAKE PANEL.

When waiting in traffic or stop with my foot firmly on the brake, the brake would occasionally abruptly jump from under my foot causing the car to move forward for a split second. This situation has caused me to panic and feeling scared. Every 3 months I do maintenance as required, they have yet to advise me the need of new brakes for the car.

This car was purchased as a PRE-OWNED vehicle with 200 miles. Today, the mileage is 48744. Please give me an effective advise me for I don't know what to do and don't know anything about cars except for driving them when feeling safe.

I anxiously awaiting for a solution this problem. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR PROMPT RESPONSE.

CX-7 Non Turbo

When I step on the brake the accelerator disengages and car will die out. I drive with two feet when accelerating onto a highway and when I drive through a puddle to keep the brakes dry. I was in the auto industry for 30 years and have driven all makes and models, no car ever responded this way... I feel this is an unsafe condition or defect. The dealer told me never to drive with two feet and all these cars do the same thing...I disagree. Does anyone else have this problem? Is there a solution? I feel that this should be addressed in a recall program. I hope MAZDA is reading this. gposter742@aol.com
