My Mazda3 is only 4 years old and the headlight on the passenger side is not working. After trying numerous things it was determined that a seal was leaking causing water damage that caused a short. It is in the dealership now being fixed and of course the extended warranty will not cover it. In the small writing, they do not cover seals that leak. They can't even guarantee that it won't happen again. I do not understand why after only four years the seals would leak.
