rusted rear right wheel well
We have a 2004 Mazda Tribute. We started hearing a thumping in the back right rear. We took it in to the mechanic and he told us the wheel well had rusted so bad that the shock tower had actually rusted loose. He wouldn't allow us to drive it anymore. It was that much of a safety issue. Those who are saying that there has been a recall for this issue in the past are incorrect. No recalls of any year of Tribute either in Canada or the US. I have looked. The car is now stationary. The rest of the car is in great condition. There are so many identical Tributes having this exact problem, there should be a recall. MY MECHANIC WOULDN"T LET ME DRIVE IT!!!
