Took my vehicle to a very reliable repair shop for oil change and they noted that front control arm bushings were worn. Since I had Subaru added security warranty I took my forester to selling dealer for repairs. The dealer noted nothing wrong with bushings. My concern is that dealer is trying to save money by not doing repair that should be covered under Subaru warranty. My next step is to get another opinion regarding bushings. If bushings need replacing then I guess I'm in for a long hassle with the Dealer or Subaru to get bushings replaced.

I WENT TO FAIRWAY SUBARU HAZLETON, PA FOR A OIL CHANGE & INSPECTION. i WAS IN THE WAITING ROOM AND THE SERVICE RECEPTIONIST CAME TO SEE ME WITH A SLIP OF PAPER STATING THAT i NEED NEW FRONT CONTROL ARM BUSHINGS COST PARTS & LABOR 336.12 NEVER NEW I HAD A PROBLEM!

4 WHEEL ALIGNMENT OUT OF ADJUSTMENT COST $99.95 MUFFLER GASKET LEAKING COST $75.97 RIGHT FRONT FOG LIGHT OUT COST $58.86 THEN FINALLY THAT THERE WAS A LOWER A/C CONDENSER "O" RING LEAKING EST. TO REPAIR $450.99 WHICH I REFUSED BECAUSE THE AIR CONDITIONER WAS WORKING GOOD AND HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE CAR GETTING INSPECTED.

ALL SAID AND DONE THE TOTAL BILL CAME TO $749.01 PARTS COST $ 149.26 LABOR $587.35 ( I WAS IN THE WAITING ROOM FOR 90 MINUTES. THAT'S LIKE 391.00 DOLLARS PER HOUR LABOR " O " THEY WERE SO KIND THAT THEY GAVE ME A $30.00 COUPON CREDIT WOW IF I HAD TO DO IT AGAIN I WOULD HAD THE OIL & FILTER CHANGE AND GO ELSEWHERE FOR THE INSPECTION I WILL NOT BUY ANOTHER CAR OR GO BACK TO THAT DEALERSHIP.
