Due to car being parked so often at home during covid from 2020 and then working from home with little mileage the battery deteriorated. Honda 3 year warranty kicked in but on prorated basis. I had to pay for the electrical system inspection $140 CAD plus new battery at 50% off ($150 CAD) due to warranty. Chalk it up to unusual epidemic situation. Had no issues with the new battery since (May 2024), My Honda warranty paid for the tow truck to the dealer too. Annoying but easily solved. We know OEM batteries are not made to last long anymore (2-4 years).
