Brand new 2015 MDX. Humming noise at low speeds (mostly). I'm able to duplicate the noise when I select 'S' drive and drive in 2nd gear between 1500 and 2000rpms.

I previously had the 2003 MDX for 14 years from 0 miles to 105,000mi. - NO PROBLEMS!

Traded it in for this 2015 and it has been one big disappointment after another. First we notice the plastic in the engine bay was scratched, the grommets of the engine cover and side plastic were missing, and a gauge in the rear passenger window (1/8in). As expected, Acura was willing to repair/replace such items. Then the AC pulley recall, which they had no fix for about a month where I had a family trip across country. And finally, this annoying LOUD humming noise coming from the engine bay. Seems to be attributed to a loose fastener based on a Technical Service Bulletin 14-003.

Really Acura? You've lost my business forever. I do not expect a $55K SUV to have this type of quality built. I'm going somewhere else.

Note: What's really funny and sad is that when I was explaining to the salesman about the loose plastic and missing grommets inside the engine bay, I tried to use one of their new showroom floor cars to point out the pieces. Come to find out, this new car also had those missing from its engine bay. WTH!!!
