I [xxx] and [xxx] were on a local back road in our town when my rear frame member on the driver side had snapped and pulled us into the oncoming side of the road into a large ditch where we took out a fence post and clipped a fiber optics line indicator post then into a colbert the airbags did not deploy on my front window post nor on my door the front driver steering wheel and passenger dash board airbags didn't deploy until after I [xxx] hit the steering wheel and after passenger [xxx] hit the dash board. After deployment the airbag module started sparking then caught on fire we both put out the fire before exiting the vehicle then patiently waited for the local mccomb ms police to arrive then we called the local wrecker service to pull our BMW from the ditch then had it hauled to the local wrecker yard for pickup at a later day for a fee for storage and initial tow. I do not know if the rear frame was due to a manufacturing flaw or due to a prior owner but that was what caused the accident. The airbags on the other hand did not deploy at the proper time causing us to become slightly injured but not hospitalized but most defiantly dazed and confused for the most part....I also have more pictures of the accident report. Information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).

Second rear coil failure. First was 4/2007 at 39800 mi (ref ODI 10189296). Exactly same location in coil as last time. Corroded cracked surface (>95%) indicates part failed long before the coil end broke off and flew out of car. Final failure was under braking. Part was forcebly ejected and could have injured a bystander or oncoming vehicle.

Was driving on hwy 99 getting ready to exit on jensen ave when I felt a bump then my driver curtain/ door airbag deployed. After further inspection I found damaged to the diver's rim and tire, brakes have been clicking ever since and suspension seems to be affected as well since car is been shaking and tilting to that side

The engine of my car shut off, and upon being towed to the dealer, they got back to me to say that the engine failed as a result of drivers error from a downshift from 4th to 2nd. The dealer said that this was identified by the car's computer system. However, after talking to many mechanics, I have been instructed that this problem could never have been identified by a car's computer, and this was just an out for the manufacturer and dealer. I am not satisfied with their answer, and am looking for a way to protest their decision. For right now, I was stuck paying for the total bill which exceeded $6000.
