The manufacture forgot to install the membrane from between the door panel and door shell. When it rained the water would completely soak the carpet. Since the carpet was black and I never drove bare footed I didn't notice this until recently that a heavy rain completely flooded the carpet. The body shop said it was the missing membrane. I traded it in back to the dealer and never told them about the flooding.
