I think BMW is overrated. I have had 4 BMWs and this is the worst of them all.

If you plan on purchasing, PLEASE DON'T BUY THIS CAR, NOT WORTH THE MONEY, TAKE IT FROM ME. I HAVE HAD 16

CARS AND THESE ARE THE WORST, JUST A WASTE OF MONEY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here is the story, I just bought a BMW 740i 2011. I have this car like not even 2 months, I only put 1,800 miles on it an man what a peace of crap. Every time I go to pull up driveway, it starts to make clicking, clacking an banging sounds. You would think after paying $58,000 these kinda of problems wouldn't occur. I know BMW has had recalls for something likes this for their previous years and the 5 series have this same problem.

The bushing fail often and if you live in California they seem to go out every 30,000 miles. I can say if you really want a BMW make sure you get it with all the warranty you can and don't own it anymore than 30,000 miles and trade it in or just lease before you buy. I'm telling you it almost does not matter what kind of car you get just different issues and different brands, just buy a cheap car that you can park anywhere and don't have to worry about something happening to your ride. Just enjoy a cheap car and if you are looking to get in one of these your probably better off driving what you have.

BMW, I'm so sorry to talk crap on your products but no way should I be having these issues so soon, and supposedly on their top of the line model, this is sad. No one makes good cars anymore. I'm so sorry to say that I really think NHTSA needs to go after BMW an do an extensive investigation. I think they should go under permanent surveillance an designs should be inspected before mass production.
