Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

The contact owns a 2011 BMW X3. While attempting to park the vehicle, it unintentionally accelerated and crashed into a building. The contact stated that the air bags deployed. A police report was filed. The contact sustained burns on the hand and a gash on the neck, which needed medical attention. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage and VIN were unknown.

The contact owns a 2011 BMW X3. While driving at approximately 65 mph during heavy rain, the vehicle violently decelerated to 35 mph without warning. The contact stated that the failure was similar to slamming down on the brake pedal. The contact stated that the vehicle was taken to the dealer to be diagnosed but the failure could not be duplicated. The failure recurred only during rain weather conditions.
