The contact owns a 2014 BMW X3. The contact stated that while driving 20 mph, the brakes failed to respond. As a result, the driver crashed into the rear of another vehicle. A police report was not filed and no injuries were reported. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where the failure was unable to be replicated. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and stated that the vehicle was not included in NHTSA campaign number: 13V454000 (service brakes, hydraulic). The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure and current mileage was 60... updated 04-23-14
