The contact owns a 2009 BMW X5. The contact stated that the vehicle was parked when the instrument panel illuminated for the TPMS monitor. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that front side driver's side rim had a stressed crack that was causing a deflated tire. The rim and tire was repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 71000.
