For the 2nd time since owning this car it starts intermittently cutting off while driving , or while idling . sometimes it will resart right away , other times it may be hours , or not at all eventually . After some major research on my part I discovered TSB's indicating a problem with the crankshaft position sensor . Mechanic finally checked what I told him , replaced CRPS, and car has been fine for almost 3 yrs. Now it's doing it again, it masks itself as possible problem with Alternator, starter, even oxygen sensor, or vacuum leak . Car in shop right now and mechanic is totally stumped . Can anyone shed any light on why this keeps happening ?
