Car was running fine with great maintaining. All services and procedures done by the book. Next day it was sputtering popping and overheating.... Head gasket blown internally, not leaking externally.(you can't see the problem until you pull the dipstick and say oh shi#!!!). Anyway car will run but it is put up for now.... The general cost seems to run around $1,200.00 and that is just for repair. At 100,000 miles change your alternator to be safe..... It usually reaches its lifespan by then or sooner under normal use.
