The National Safety Commission charged with evaluating the degree of danger posed; has grossly underestimated the impact of this defect and the hazardous potential ramifications as follows:

1- The deleterious effect of inclement weather entering through the open window (s) that have become useless, despite new doors and assemblies). Inclement weather seriously compromises the drivers field of vision.(ie.) You may use your wipers for the outside of the windshield, however the inside of the car is still being pounded.

2- I have a 20 year old daughter, whom should be able to secure her car by locking it with closed windows; however presently, a perpetrator need only to reach in freely to access the inside of the car, glove compartment with confidential registration and identity information. Furthermore, they could also disable the car as well, rendering her at their mercy should they decide to harass or harm her.

4- It might also be interesting to see if insurance companies eventually raise the anti-theft rates on theses cars.

3- Indeed, if this hasn't met the board's criteria for a recall, then a trip to my local assemblyman for a comprehensive review of standards as well as review of any potential conflicts of interest will be next!
