Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. : the contact stated the brake pads on the vehicle were defective. The brake pads began to separate after 64500 miles. The service dealer identified the separation. The contact replaced the brake pads. Updated 12/28/06.

The brake pads wore out prematurely to the point where they were making a grinding metal to metal noise. The brakes were not able to stop vehicle immediately when applied. This resulted in extended stopping distanced. Dealership replaced front brake pads and adjusted the rear brakes.
