The automatic window regulators on this car are flat-out awful. I don't know what it is, but they break at a ridiculous rate. I'm on the third regulator since I bought the car on 3/4 windows. Recently, I actually learned to do the repair myself. If you want to do this, Amazon has Dorman-brand regulator and motor assemblies for around $40 for all 4 windows, and the repair is simple. My mechanic recommends Dorman, but I can't speak for the quality yet. I am hopeful that it is better than the OEM parts, which are, again, horrid.

This is the THIRD time one of the electric windows has broken, each time it costs over $300 to fix, GM made these things cheap and unreliable. I'm out a thousand dollars on electric window repairs now.

Century Custom V6

within 3 months, all 4 windows went down and would not roll up. The motors had to be replaced. On the 2nd one, my mechanic said that the motors were from Toyota and were installed by General motors on the Buicks since l999 and he had lost count of how many he had replaced. He also replaced the next 2, at $750.00 a pop, I now had an investment of a new car down payment in this auto!!

Within a 5 week period both electric rear windows were found open and won't close . The rear windows were never or rearly opened . The motord seem to work but the windows won't close . It seems very unusual for this to happen to both windows at nearly the same time . I've read that other people have had similar problems with their Buick electric windows .
