The same problem still exists with this vehicle after taking it into the shop several times. I have taken it in to a certified reputable repair shop that works on GMC/Buicks, said it was the spark plugs. Had that done, $400.00. They have shared that it could be the battery - had it replaced to the tune of $270.00. Then they said it was a wheel bearing, $400.00. Now, they are saying its the starter, will be another $500.00. This has all occurred within the past 5 weeks! Sad thing is, that the vehicle still jerks going up a hill on the hwy, about 60 mph.

Why is the dealership so afraid to fix my transmission??

Purchased a used 2014 Enclave a few months ago with 34,000 miles on the odometer. Love the car other than this issue. When going uphill and making turns, the transmission jerks into gear. The jerk is very noticeable and moves the whole car. Haven't taken it to the dealer yet, but plan to soon. Just want to be sure that this isn't anything serious, and if it is we get it taken care of before the vehicle goes out of warranty.

I decided to purchase a Buick for the first time in my life. I always purchased exported cars but this time around I just fell in love with the Buick Enclave. So I purchased a new 2014 Buick Enclave and it has been a night mare and an embarrassment. I've had friends and relatives in my SUV and the car has jerked so hard that it felt like someone had rear ended me. How embarrassing is that? I brand new car and it does this to you. I have since taken it serval times to the dealer and no corrections have been made because they don't find the problem. The jerk happens randomly and how course never when the technician drives it.

Noticed that upon slowing down to make turn, transmission jumps when accelerate after turn. Mentioned it to dealership when had serviced and they said it's normal. Later on noticed it also jumped when accelerating going up a hill. Concerned that it may cause problems later on.

I have had the car to the dealer now a few times and they found a broken motor mount that seemed to be the problem, though I felt that it was more transmission related since the car felt like it was in neutral then slamemd into gear when the problem ocurred.

The motor mount may have helped to reduce the problem, but the problem did not go away. So, back to the dealer.

The car has never shifted easily or smoothly from 2nd to thrid gear since new. Will update if they find the problem. It is ot an easy problem to identify.

Felt the transmission jerk when slowing down for a turn and then accelerating. At first thought it was just me - maybe my foot slipping but after about three times I took to dealer. Took them two weeks to get me in and I did not feel it at all during that time. This past week it has happened each time I drive it.

I now have about 5400 miles. I purchased when it had 230 miles and felt it the first time at 1000 miles or less. The dealer could not replicate the problem and told me it was probably just a matter of the vehicle getting broken in. Will be taking in for 6000 mile oil change and asking them to address again. Will NOT accept a rebuilt transmission in a 40K+ car. This is ridiculous!
