All 4 of the window regulators on this $34,000 car went out. The left front went out twice. (passenger side). Also, the power door locks went out on the driver side rear. I drove my last car for 10 years, 237,000 miles and had a problem with one window regulator. I will not purchase another American car.

Had to tape driver's rear window shut in a snow storm in order to finish an emergency trip. Understand Consumer's Report has listed this problem. Don't businesses take responsibility for faulty merchandise? We should be reimbursed for this. How do we contact someone to pay for the repairs?

From reading on this website this has been an ongoing problem for Buick on this car... Very disappointing given GM's pride in the quality of this car... Our driver's side broke about 6 mos. ago and now the passenger rear side is broken too... That will be a total of over $1300 in repairs for a problem that Buick will say doesn't exist... We are going to make the calls and complaints to GM, but don't expect satisfaction... I agree with other complaints I have read this is a little used window and should not break so easily...

Ditto to all of the complaints listed here. This is a racket that I wish I new about before buying the car. This Car has all the bells and whistles and is a nice drive unless your rear window regulator dies on the coldest day of the year in December! The drivers side broke last year, but at that time I was covered under warranty. It almost appears to be a contrived replacement part to pad GM's profits.

This is the second regulator that has broken in less than 6 months. The belts are plastic and you have to buy the entire unit which costs $289 plus installation. This is a continuing problem for Buick I was told by the dealership.

I have continuous problems with the turn signal and rear tail lights burning out and then this plastic belt broke on the rear window governor. They have recently changed the unit and I was told by the Buick dealer that this is a big problem for Buick. Now the belt on the other rear window has broken and I have contacted Buick both by phone and by letter and they will not do anything about this or even admit they have a problem.

Rear window regulator broke on both the right and left side. I estimate that I have lowered and raised the two rear windows about 5 times. There is no excuse for this problem. I had to drive about four hours with the right window down, wind/noise blowing into the car was extremely annoying. I asked the local Buick dealer if any warranty coverage on this and was told NO. This will be my last GM product.

I had 2 of my regulator fixed and now I need to get the other back window fixed because the regulator is gone in that one. I believe there is a problem and Buick should look into this because it happens without any type of warning. I think we should all be reimbursed because it happens after the warranty is over. I sure we are not the only ones with this problem. The window just drops. I consider this a defect in this vehicle.

Window regulator broke and dropped window. This is a problem with all Buicks and it could happen to any door. Dealer only item on the rear doors and you have to buy a new motor with the regulator from the dealer.
