My 2012 Buick Lacrosse V6 will not shift from first gear to second gear with moderate throttle until it reaches 5000 RPM. Buick claims this is normal for this car. Other gear changes are equally delayed. When attempting to pass another vehicle at 65 MPH and pressing down on the gas pedal, the car will suddenly jump into a very low gear and the engine will race to red-line and shut down. Buick claims this is normal for this car. Because there are no failure codes set when a diagnostic test is run, the dealer says there is no problem with the transmission and it is performing normally? It seems that Buick power train engineers and technicians are simply Brain Bead. NO CAR that I have ever driven drives this poorly. What a sad state of affairs that Buick cannot setup a transmission to shift properly and worse yet they cannot fix one that clearly is defective.
