A D V E R T I S E M E N T S

Bought a 2012 back in April 2015 while my Mom was in hospital so I had reliable transportation to see her. August of 2015 my Mom passed. After a while I noticed the car was burning a qt. every one thousand miles. I mentioned the concern to Jerimiah don't let the name fool ya and he said that was normal for that type of car. Wrong answer, I found out after my extended warranty ran out that the car had a TBN 13-06-01-003H from a more reliable dealership, meaning pistons and rings need to be replaced, a $2000. dollar job. I'm out of my depression over losing my Mom so I can truthfully say now, I don't recommend buying a Buick Regal. THEY SUCK!!! 0 stars.

Regal 2.4L Turbo

  • Automatic transmission
  • 600 miles

After traveling at a certain speed for a few miles, when the car comes to a stop (red light), the car after about 20-30 seconds of idling will begin to shake and putter. The RPM meter does not seem to be moving while this happens. The Check engine light does not come on, therefore no one at the dealership can help me with this issue becuase they dont have anything to diagnose. The car is covered under warranty through and through...but of course when i bring it to them for the second time, they take it for a ride and dont feel anything. Now im the crazy person. It was very subtle in the beginning but has recently began to get worse as times progress. A few times the car would actually shake and you could feel your whole body moving. For a car that now has under 2,000 miles on it...i dont believe this is "NORMAL." If anyone has any input on what i should do this would help. If anything, im trying to prevent long term maintanence on the car.

I have noticed that when the car begins to shake or putter (Feel like it's going to stall), if i take my foot off the brake (as long as there is no one else in front of me), then the shaking/puttering/stalling feeling goes away..,
