The cost of constantly replacing struts and shocks has been awful. In addition, other front end issues tend to surface. I have paid about $850. per year for the last 6 years and I still have "creaking" noises in the front end. I have taken the car to dealers, independent mechanics and no one seems to be able to diagnose the problem.
