Stalls while driving, then will not start. The car was not under waranty, so we had to pay top dollar to have the crank sensor replaced. Cadillac kept our car for two weeks to finally figure out why the car would not run.

I would just like to know why nothing shows up on the diagnostic meter. I can be driving down the road nice as can be and all of a sudden it just stops, and then it won't start again. Don't know if its the timing belt or cam drive idler or tensioner pulleys. Any ideas? It's not fixed yet, just bought it a few days ago so its covered by warranty, thank God! I ran a history on it before purchasing and it was clean, no major problems or accidents reported. Just want to know what the problem is and can it be fixed?
