This is the second regulator in sixty days and I think it is a wide spread problem.

I bought the caddy, one window not working... within a year, all four window regulators had snapped.

WQe had teo regulators in two windows fail. The first was just months after we bought the car. in June of 2009. The second one failed in June of 2010 while on vacaton. We had to cut cardboard and put duck tape in till be would get to a dealer the next day.

While on vacation another window failed and another regulator in another window had to be replaced. The rain came and my husband had to cut cardboard and duck tape till we could get to a dealer the next day. Spent another 513.42. We reported this to GM.
