Rear passenger window made a popping noise and the window fell into the door and wouldn't raise back up. Secure windows are a very important personal safety issue, and this could be very dangerous situation if one is driving in inclement weather.

We were parked waiting to pick up a friend and heard a noise that sounded like someone had thrown a stone at our driver side window. The window dropped down approximately two inches, and wouldn't go back up. The cable mechanism that operates the window broke. Now we have had a total of three that have broken in the same manner, with the same sound and window dropping down. Repair man said the problem is a faulty design and carries a repair cost of over $395 each.
