I bought this lovely 2004 Cadillac SRX 4.6L V8. I love my car. Initially there was a little burn of harness in the engine before I had it but was fixed and the car drives very nice. Just about a year when had it the transmission went out it cost me $2,700 to replace it. Oh before that happened the A/C compressor went out first I have it replaced after was the transmission. About four months the power steering motor went out I have it replaced.

This car I am talking about barely have 47,000 miles ok. This time I received a letter from GM that there was a recall on my SRX so I need to go the nearest dealer for the recall to be removed which I did. Few weeks after that my power steering motor started some funny noise so I took it to my Mechanics to check. I was surprised when he said sorry but power steering compressor is bad. I ask him don't change this last winter? Yes we did he said. He said I notice your heat runs with the Air and that's the course.

So in short I had this car for three years, I replaced three compressors. I have it replaced again. This is the fourth year. Winter is coming and I don't know what to do. This time I have a thought that I need to contact the manufacturer to complain about the problems am going through with SRX model of Cadillac. So I wrote a latter to them GM in Ohio telling them what's going on with my car. They replied asking me to file a claim which I did but my claim was rejected because they said I did not buy the particular vehicle from them but from third party so they're not responsible.

After all this, now is the Traction Control light coming on in the middle of highway this car just die in on high way. I spend so much on this vehicle at a point my wife and I have problem because of this vehicle. I tried selling but no one want to buy. But I think something needs to be done about this situation. I think this my last avenue of complaining about this car.
