Transmission shifts hard from first to second gear when I get off of the highway, feels like someone rearended me. Gas guage always registers full.grinding noise from right rear tire, sounds like the rear axle, had brakes checked by dealer they are fine.maybe I should of bought a Ford.

The rear axle seals failed, saturating the rear brake shoes in axle grease. The rear brakes had to be replaced along with the axle seals. Warranty refused to cover cost of brake repair. Has there been a problem with Chevy axle seals?
