First off: Chevy knows that they used a bad oil gasket as it is made out of a very cheap material that warps with age allowing oil to leak out. This occurs in 2004-2007 aveos. They have not and will not recall it, nor is it under any sort of warranty (seeing the age of the car). I had so many places look at my car and spent hundreds of dollars getting every "leaky valve" and "leaky gasket" replaced until I finally figured out where it was really coming from and got a quote from multiple sources for 900 smackaroons. At the age of my car and the amount of oil being lost and my wallet not being large, I'm not going to fix this problem.
