Bought the Chevy Trailblazer brand new in 2002 and had nothing but problems with it. Today the Transmission failed. Transmission fluid and filter were properly maintained, yet it failed at 130,000 miles. Repair guy says they seem to all fail around 120,000. I hear reports of engine cracks at 100,000 miles. Now I am scared after replacing my transmission the engine will fail. Because of poor quality workmanship, the following had to be replaced or repaired under 40,000 miles: R/rear brake light 3 times, fuse to brake light, power steering pump, gas tank, windshield wiper motor, engine fan, and returned to dealer for some kind of transmission recall work. Now today transmission failed as suv was being put in reverse. I will never buy another Chevy again.
