Camaro SS 6.2L

It seems that this is a frequent issue with this car. Service Airbag warning light will randomly come on for about 30 seconds or so. Then it goes out. HEY GM! Recall this

Camaro SS V8

I have had several things go wrong so far. The first thing that happened that I got fixed was my windshield started cracking in the corner for no reason at all. Dealership said must have been installed wrong and got stress cracks. The second thing going wrong now is that my service air bag light won't go off and my airbag is bulging up through the top of the dash. Now when looking in my car through the front window, you can see the outline where the airbag goes and it is very scary to not know if it is going to go off with my wife or a child in the seat. It is very aggravating.

I took it to the dealership and they said the light was on because of a bad sensor and that it would cost me $900 dollars for them to fix it. I don't have $900 dollars and I think it is ridiculous that they won't fix it for free being as dangerous as it is. My car is garaged kept and in car shows. I am embarrassed to show it with the air bag bulging out the way it is.
