My wife was turning into my neighbor's driveway, with her foot off the accelerator, and as she moved her foot to the brake pedal, the car suddenly accelerated forcefully. She then put both feet onto the brake pedal and pressed as hard as she could, but the car continued to move forward, striking my neighbor's SUV, pushing it 15 feet forward where it ran into her ATV, which finally struck a brick wall and stopped the motion. No fault codes showed on the dash. 30 minutes later when I arrived at the scene, I started the Camaro and backed it away from the SUV. The Camaro ran normally at that point. My wife refused to drive it anymore, so a tow truck is coming to take it to a Chevrolet dealership with a body shop (the dealership where I bought the car new). The dealership's service manager said no recalls are out for this car. I'm pretty sure they won't accept any liability. Our neighbor's nephew's girlfriend has a 2013 Camaro with a V8 that has accelerated on its own while coming to a stop three or four times. It was checked at a Chevrolet dealership, but the problem is still there.
