This new car has a really annoying problem, Your left arm must be longer than your right. It feels like you are going sideways on the highway. I feel like if am doing a burnout and the car is going sideways. Nice car but bad issue. The dealer and or manufacturer says it is normal (BULLS*%#). This can be corrected because as you can see, the shaft is to the left of the opening that the column goes through. The dealer stated that the platform people whoever they are, said there might be a stamping problem on the mounting holes that bolt the mass jacket (column) to the dash. If this car were not new, I would unbolt this shaft and relocate the mounting holes. Probably not that hard to do, but I refuse to work on a brand new car in this manner. I am pursuing resolution but am not hopeful. Several if not most of the GEN5 Camaros have this issue, but not all. I have seen some that have less degree of slant. GM knows well of this problem. This would encompass possibly all the GEN 5 Camaros. That is a lot of cars with the year range 2010 - 2015. The Gen 6 is not like this. I paid top dollar for a car with a slanted steering wheel. Read the threads on online forums for Gen 5 Camaros. I am refusing to drive this car until it is fixed. I have 800 plus miles on this automobile.
