First, the dashboard has cracked in the middle of my car. Immediately after buying the car the paint on buttons on the cd player/radio started peeling off. The problem has worsened over time. Lastly, the latch on the front driver's side broke off and the seat is now stuck in the upright position and cannot be laid back. Paint is peeling off on both sides of the car on the outside at the top from interstate driving.
2000 Chevrolet Cavalier Z-24 - driver's side door freezes shut on most reasonably cold days. Passenger side door opens fine. My 94 Saturn parks right next to it and never has a problem unless it is extremely cold with ice and snow, which is understandable. Could the door/window seal be bad on the Cavalier?
The two back doors on my 4 door 2000 Cavalier fly open. Once the plastic latch is broken, the door cannot be locked to prevent this from happening again. The first incident happened in March 2003 and the other door on the 4th of July, 2003.
