The Dash cap cracked all to pieces. It had a couple cracks when we got the car, however with a couple months, it literally cracked like an egg shell and fell to pieces. Unfortunately there is no replacement for it, only a "cover". From everything I understand it's a common problem with the Cavaliers. Something about the cheap plastics GM used. Either way, it makes a very nice looking and cared for car, look abused.
