My Cavalier is 80 per cent garaged and only 33,000 miles on it, green in color... The paint is all coming off it and it makes me ashamed of it... I recently got an estimate from Pioneer Chevy for painting it, cost was just a few dollars short 3.000 dollars for paint, that actually is what the car is worth at this age.. As far as mechanical, I have never owned a better auto.. Like my car but very ashamed of the outside..

Car was purchased with the special paint job and coating so the color would last. It looks terrible! It has been peeling since 2006 and is only getting worse. The car has been maintained with regular washes and waxes, but this has not prevented the problem.

Cavalier LSSport 4 cyl

  • Automatic transmission

Paint is peeling really bad. Started in December the size of a teardrop, by February it is now about six inch oval. Really making the car look trashy. Paint is the factory blue so the gray underneith really shows up badly. Previously had a blue chevy celebrity and had paint issues also. Nothing I can do to stop it?
