Basically this is the second time that my check engine light has come on in less than 2 years. I have owned the vehicle since July or August of 2009. The check engine light came on this time for the exact same reason that it came on the first time, a massive vapor leak. The problem was not repaired the first time because the mechanic thought it was an isolated or random event. He did say that if it happened again, it'd have to go in to the shop to be repaired. So sometime within the next week or two, I'll have to put it in the shop to have it repaired. I can't remember what the exact cause of the problem is but it has something to do with a leak in a fuel regulator in a fuel line or something like that. I am terrified that this is going to cost several hundred dollars to fix and I am on a very limited budget.
