Did not have car for a week. On trip to beach under the dash water started to drip. As the days past the vents started smelling bad. It is a moldy garbage type odor that is awful. It progressively got worse until winter and we no longer used the AC. Been to GM dealer and we have been told this is common problem on Cobalt and HHR and there is nothing they can do but spray something nice in the vents. We replaced the cabin filter that was covered in wet mold that had leaked back from the dash. Cost of cabin filter $30.00 not covered under warranty. So dealer states. Said to coplain to GM about our new car.
