This is the third time the heater fan stopped working. Had it fixed twice. The first time the relay switch was replaced. The second time the wire connector was fried and they replaced the connectors. Don't know what the problem is now, taking it in tomorrow for repairs. Checked to see if there was a recall.
Update from Jan 5, 2016: The control unit was loosing ground. Added a new grounding poit to the control unit. Cost me $111.30 for parts, labor, and tax.
